Xbox signs up video game legend

LOS ANGELES - Microsoft has enlisted Hironobu Sakaguchi, credited with creating the legendary “Final Fantasy” series of role-playing video games, to make two games for the next Xbox game console, the company said Thursday.

This is definite good news for the 'Xbox - 360' (working title of the next Xbox). I would say that Microsoft is not going to make the same mistake of titles on the new Xbox. But I hope they include backwards game compatibility, it makes a huge difference.

Blog...

Because of the troubles we had today, by end of week I plan on switching to a new blogging utility called WordPress. This will allow me to host all the content locally on my server and not wait for Blogger.com.

There is a lot of customization that needs to happen prior to me rolling the new blog out and as such I'll keep everyone updated.

Scott ignore the email I sent you for now, we'll worry about it later this week.

Wolf and Raven

That song by Sonata Arctica has awesome lyrics.. I mean listening to the song you just enjoy the music, but if you actually read it... Really very cool. It makes me want to write a short story on it.

Freedom Call

A while ago Imperial Executioner put up a link for the new Freedom Call album 'Circle of Life'. I unfortunately didn't get around to listening to the new tracks on it, and quite frankly I wasn't that impressed. I hope that the album turns out better than the 3 tracks they have up there but if this is the fare we are getting from Freedom Call nowadays I fear no more albums will be purchased by me.

Bad Camera News

Two days ago I attempted to turn on my new Canon SD200 Digital Camera to take a picture of my massively scary CPU fan. Unfortunately it wouldn't turn on so I am out of a digital camera for a while during the time that CompUSA figures out what is wrong with it / sends it to Canon for repairs.

Sucks.

New Server

I have updated my website to a new server.

Unfortunately during the upgrade it broke the Reviews section so that is under construction at this time.

Once I figure out what went wrong with that portion then I'll bring it back online, but all other functionality appears to be working.

At Last

Audio samples from the new FREEDOM CALL album, entitled "The Circle of Life", have been posted online at the group's official web site. Check out the tracks "Mother Earth", "Kings & Queens" and "Hunting High and Low" at this location.

POSEIDON UNDERSEA RESORTS

This makes me happy....

It sounds like it would be approximately $1500/night to stay here, but an underwater hotel? I would save up money to do it.

8GB Flash drive

I really like flash drives.

I have a 128MB one that I use for porting my current projects on (I have a development project that I am working on right now). Now an 8GB one would be awesome, that could be used for serious data retention.
